Technology using in Medik8 Blue AOX

Copper PCA is the copper salt of L-pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (L-PCA). PCA, being a physiological component of the outer layer of the skin means it is not only a very effective active ingredient, but it is extremely compatible with the skin. Copper PCA has an exceptionally high antioxidant capacity meaning it has the ability to neutralise free-radicals in the skin which damage collagen and contribute to premature skin ageing. Copper PCA was shown to have an antioxidant capacity 40 times stronger than that of regular L-ascorbic acid, proving its skin protecting properties.

Medik8 have patents pending on this pioneering copper PCA ingredient research, where copper PCA has been tested throughout development for its impressive antioxidant ability. Therefore Medik8 Blue AOX technology is exclusive to Medik8 skincare.

Chirally correct copper PCA, like that present in Medik8 Blue AOX, not only exhibits excellent antioxidant skin protection, but it is non acidic meaning it does not cause skin irritation unlike L-ascorbic acid. Medik8 Blue AOX is developed with chirally correct copper PCA which is the most effective and non irritating form of the ingredient. Directions to use Medik8 Blue AOX

Medik8 Blue AOX has been formulated for direct application to the face.

In the morning and/ or evening after cleansing, apply 3-4 drops directly to the skin and blend evenly across the whole facial area, neck and décolleté. Alternatively, place a drop on your finger and massage into the skin. Leave to absorb for 2-3 minutes.

Follow with the application of Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Serum, Medik8 Hydr8 Day or your preferred hydrator/ sunscreen.
