Medik8 Red Alert Serum, helps to fade and clear Thread Veins, Skin Redness, Rosacea and Bruises
Powerful active ingredients help to target skin redness. They act by promoting anti-oxidation, vein-wall strengthening and enhanced coagulation (blood clotting at site of capiliary damage).
There is no stronger topical formula for cosmetically managing skin redness.
For use anywhere on the body and also great for the facial region. Developed for use on all skin types.
Causes of Thread Veins
Thread veins, or spider veins are most commonly found on the face and legs. They usually pose no health hazard but may produce a dull aching in the legs after prolonged standing. A number of factors contribute to the development of thread veins, including heredity, pregnancy and other events that cause hormonal shifts, weight gain, occupations or activities that require prolonged sitting or standing, and the use of certain medications.
Causes of Rosacea
To date the cause of Rosacea is not known. Rosacea generally occurs in individuals between the ages of 20 and 70 years, and is much more common in people with fair complexions. Women are more likely than men to have Rosacea, although the condition is often more severe in men. Extreme changes in temperature, very strong acid peels, microdermabrasion and some laser re-surfacing programmes will often cause the condition to worsen.
