What is Medical Microdermabrasion?
Medical Microdermabrasion uses no lasers or chemicals. The treatment involves passing a fine collection of medical grade crystals over the skins surface using a hand held device.
The technique gently removes the dead skin cells and smooths the surface of the skin through a process called ex foliation. The new, living skin cells beneath this top layer are revealed giving a longer, more rejuvenation appearance.

The procedure is performed by using a hand piece that the operator passes over the skin. This evenly removes the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of skin, as pictured below:
